How to attach an image to a toolbar button ?

Hello,

I want to programatically create a toolbar button (in Writer for example) from a Java/Basic macro. Is it possible to attach an image to it (i.e. to render an image onto that button not only plain text).

I only succeeded to create a toolbar item which displays a simple text. Is there a property for a toolbar button which allows me to attach an image to it ?
