|

I am having trouble with objects when converting from Microsoft documents to OO documents. Are there specific object types of objects that OO recognizes and if so does anybody know what they are? Specifically I am referring to Objects created in MathType.
Thanks |

| Have you checked Tools > Options > Load/Save > MS Office? Make sure the checkbox for MathType to OOo Math is checked. I'm assuming that's what you want to do right? |

| I double checked to make sure it was selected but it still doesn't work. I only experience this problem in Writer, not Impress or Calc which is even more confusing since all of the options set identically as far as I can tell. If you have any more ideas that would be great. Thanks |

I hadn't changed the "show object/graphics" option in Text Documents so that fixed most of my problem.
I still have issues in all OO docs with the fact that some of the mathematical symbols don't show up until I re-open them in MathType and close MathType again. At this point all symbols are shown correctly but I am hoping that there is a better way to fix this.
Thanks |
