[Kubuntu] can't save new files in FAT32 partition

I have a FAT32 partition and Open Office won't let me save new files in that partition. It only lets me save changes to files that were already there. I'm using Kubuntu 6.06.

Not an expert on Linux, but it sounds like you might only have modify not create rights on your FAT32 partition.
