i found a file called:
IannzFindReplace.sxw
on the web page:
http://homepages.paradise.net.nz/hillview/OOo/
but it's not been updated since 2006 and the author's email address is no longer valid (so i can't get any help from him). i find myself unable to follow the author's instructions or the instructions that i find with 'help' in oo 3.2.0 on how to install and use the macro. the macro appears to work as it has a demo mode that does exactly what i need (finds a string and replaces it with that string preceeded by a manual page break.).
can anyone help me with either installing this macro or with another function that can find a string and replace it with that same string preceeded by a manual page break? _________________ Alan |
