Is there any way possible to copy-paste rows of values from base to calc?
If I copy this row of text values from a table in Base::
| Code: |
Blah
Blah
Blah
Blah
Blah
|
and paste it into an already opened spreadsheet in Calc [i just click on the first cell that's available], and I just get one single cell filled with Blah:
instead of 5 subsequent cells. Great. That's quite some loss of data [especially if you're a company with some big financial puppys that just need to be copy-pasted sometimes]
anybody knows a solution to this?

Keep your copy MS Office in the bookcase -
First I have to go feed the kids...but then I will show you a solution.
If you like open a blank Calc file. Hit F4, open a database table and select only a few records from the grid on the right of the database window. Drag these to the sheet...this will give you a hint as to the solution.
Granted it is not as nice as copy / paste..but it works with queries also..
Till later.
