I am finding that in OOo 2.0.3 when you have a document with one or more input fields, the second third and every other field thereon is not working as it should.
the cursor appears 4 or 5 lines down the input field and as a result any text entered is outside the viewing area of the field.
has anyone else come accross this?
how do you fix? |

Is there a workaround for this bug? It is highly irritating.
Also, I am very disappointed to note that this is still not fixed in the 2.0.4rc2 version...
Can a dev please confirm that this will be fixed before it goes final? Otherwise, I'll have to revert everyone in here (40+ installs) to 2.0.2...
I'm embarressed to say, I leaped before I fully tested 2.0.3, and didn't discover this bug before rolling it out. I know, my own fault, but still... |

Workaround:
I presume you know that you can click in the box and the cursor will go where it should be. |

| Of course - but that is not acceptable if this isn't going to be fixed in 2.0.4. |

| And, I meant workaround as in, something I can manually edit to make the problem go away permanently... this is highly irritating for someone who uses a form with a lot of fields and is used to zipping through them with the keyboard... |

I'd expect that whatever might provide a permanent fix might also be a resolution to the bug report. Did you follow Hagar's link? That thread contains a link to the bug report. Please do go vote for that issue (you'll have to register in the issue tracker if you haven't done so already). You can submit up to two votes for it, which I'd recommend doing because this is such an important problem for you. See if other OOo users are willing to vote for it too.
Good luck to you. _________________ Cheers!
