This is new. I login, then when I get the forum listing, I see that I am not logged in. I login again from there. This causes the usual new message flags [the icons turn yellow when there's a new listing] to not appear. I say that, although there are none now to begin with. So, the end result is that I am logged in, but have to really look around to see if thereis a new message. Wierd.
In case this might be confusing... Prior to this, if I logged in I'd see yellow flagging of new messages. However, if I immediately log out then in again, this new message indication is no longer available. The messages are flagged as read.

See. Here I am again, same problem. I logged in, then to reply to this message I had to log in again. A possibility ... due to a malware attack, I now disallowed cookies.

I've had that problem before on some phpbb forums. Don't think it's any form of malware problem, may just be a cookie problem. You could try wiping your browsers cache, history and cookies then see if it happens in future. _________________ Arch Linux

Yes, thanks. It's cookies. I'm trying now to figure out with this browser how to allow cookies in certain sites, but default disallow. I'll get there.
