|
|
I am struggling with captioning tables. Can anyone help? Ideally, I want the caption above the table as a default. I have looked in 'caption' and 'table' paragraph styles and can't see how to do this using styles & formatting. When I try and do it manually the option of positioning the caption below the table is usually (not always) greyed out.
There have been previous queries on the lists about this but most seem to focus on graphics which don't seem to pose as many problems.
Thanks for any help.

| Tools -> Options -> OpenOffice.org Writer -> automatic captions. There you can set all possible options for captions. |

....but it seems that you can only set the options for automatic captions and not if you want to be selective in there use........
Such is life.
