I have OO 2.0 installed on a WinXP system.
I am using Outlook express as my mail client.
If someone sends me an attachment (eg .xls) I can see the attachment OK, it recognises it as an xls and assigns the correct icon to it, but I cannot open it. I have to save it first then open.
I have checked that in "Folder properties" that xls docs are associated with OOffice.
Does anyone have any ideas?

| Don't use Outlook, use Mozilla Thunderbird, its also opensource much more stable and more customizable than outlook! |
