As a new user of Open Office I naturally look for some of the features I use all the time in MS Word.
In particular I cut and paste from email and search and replace certain characters, usually multiple spaces, with a tab character. This is done simply with ^t. A paragraph is ^p and so on.
Can this be done in Open Office.
I have searched on this forum and can't find any reference.
Thanks |

Have a look at regular expressions in the Help. _________________ jrkrideau

Thanks
That sorts out my problem. Or at least one of them
Because I am in an Italian office I am working with the Italian version of OO even though I usually write in English. I know I could download the English version but then other users would not be able to use it. Better and easier in the long run for me to improve my Italian language skills. |
