I have an address list from WordPerfect 5.2 that uses Control-R and Control-E to delineate end-of-field and end-of-record respectively. I can change these delimiters to anything else through a search and replace. How can I get OOo to recognize this address list through either "register"ing it or somehow importing it into OOo? I don't want to have to retype the entire address list!! Thanks.

Is it a text format?

Calc [the spreadsheet] will recognise a CSV file. Fields are delineated by the comma, records by a carriage return. If you do have trouble with the search and replace, someone here will help you. Rename the file [COPY!] as a CSV for use in Calc.

David.
