I have the same problem as ooo_ah described in his thread but never got a decent reply on: http://www.oooforum.org/forum/viewtopic.phtml?t=40844&highlight=word+completion+working
Which is word completion working when I chose English as language via Format-> Character, but not when I chose Swedish, or for any other language for that matter.
I have the latest version of OOo installed (2.0.4) and I'm running XP Pro with English as default language installed but with every option that turns it more into Swedish checked in the Regional and Language Options, which is accessed via the Control Panel. Might be this that causes the problem? It really shouldn't as word completion saves the word you type and then suggest it whenever you are about to type a similiar one, regardless of language, right? |

| Do you have the Swedish spellchecker dictionary installed. I think you will need to - I just tried with English and German and seemed to find that for it to work, the language had to be set correctly and the word had to be in the spellcheck dictionary. (Or create your own dictionary and add (Swedish) words that you want to autocomplete to it.) |
