I am new to ODF and I have just now started reading stuffs about ODF.
I have a task to find out how "track changes" are done in ODF.
Can anyone please help me out?

Google is your friend. It took me less time to find it than to write this post!
I just looked for 'odf specification'. First link is the OASIS site, in the Document area, the technical specification can be found. Changes are described inside.
