Hi, Im not sure if this is possible in the 2.0.4 release but it is our main concern about switching to OpenOffice of which I think is brilliantly designed.
I noticed that in the previous release *.csv files were opened using calc which was fine but now they are opened using writer. I saw a post about this being a problem and I assume this was why it was changed.
We need to be allowed the choice of which application to use to open the *.csv as we use both applications to edit these files, but if they were opened using calc we can simply change the file extension to .txt to open in writer and get around it!
Does anyone know if the choice is possible or of any ways to get around this?

Are you actually finding that a .csv file opens in Writer for OOo 2.0.4 ? I cannot reproduce it. CSV files for me are opening in Calc.

| yes when using 2.0.4 .csv will open in writer but in version 2.0.3 they opened in calc, could this only be a setting? |
