Hello everyone
I am relatively new to open office, so if anyone can help, please explain in simple terms
I am making a spreadsheet to keep track of my logbook wich works great, but I would like it to somehowautomaticly recognize the type of aircraft I enter (I have a column for type of aircraft) and then add them up so that I can see total time on each type of aircraft.
Anyone think this is possible?

What about the other columns, the date/times in particular?
Is it like this?
Date Start_Time End_Time Aircraft ... _________________ Rest in peace, oooforum.org

You might check out the SUMIF() function in the Help file for a start.
