Morning,
I have just downloaded OpenOffice and am having trouble importing my database .
The connection to the data source "db1" could not be established. My database is in Office 2000
SQL Status: HY000
The error message is as follows
"The connection to the external data source could not be established. An unknown error occurred. The driver is probably defective."
I am not very good at following instructions unless they are step by step can you please help me

File > New > Database
choose option: Connect to existing database
Choose Microsoft Acces from the dropdown
Hit Next
Browse to your database en select it.
Hit Next
Give the new formed database a name and click Finish.
Database should open
