I am ffing that when I create a document in Word, which includes embedded jpegs, then inport the document into Writerr, the JPEG's get mangled. Typically they loose detail and shape. If I create the same type of document in Writer, export it to Word, open it and edit it in Word and then reopen it in Writer - I don't get the problem.
Has anyone any idea why this happens and how it can be avoided?
