[Ubuntu Edgy] OpenOffice wont start

Hello all,
My OpenOffice wont start under Ubuntu Edgy, it shows the splash screen for some 3 seconds and then die.
I've reported the issue here and no one has replyed.
I would like to get support on it, Thanks.

I guess that you're using Ubuntu's OOo version. Problems with that version of OOo have been reported manifold in this forum (and will be reported in the future, I guess).

Read for example this threads, which cover downloading and installing a more reliable version of OOo on Ubuntu (or try the search function yourself for more links):
