Customizing for Special Characters

Hello,

I am new user to Open Office. I will be generating documents that are in both English and Portugesuse. Frequently, both languages in the same doc. I am wondering how to more easily insert letters with accents while writing in Portugeuse. Does anyone have any guidance?

Install the US International Keyboard from Windows Control Panel.

If you want more control, then record macros. See Typing Special Characters

It also helps to [Search] before posting. This question has been asked, and answered, many times.

Thanks, for the prompt response. I am now using AllChars. It is really easy to work with.
