Hi, I need help on this. I had previously done a form in Excel and I would now like to use Open Office to use it. However, I'm having a big problem because it seems that the language for Visual Basic in Excel and Open Office Basic is totally different. As I dun really understand the language (I got the scipt from an Excel tutorial), I have no way of troubleshooting it and I can't find any tutorials on this. Would appreaciate your help...

I'm using some radio buttons where I have the following script so that when I check the radio buttons, some values will be reflected.... The error message is as fllws:

"A Scripting Framework error occured while running the Basic script"

My script is as follows, I cut the contents from Excel and pasted in the Open Office Basic and it doesn't work at all..

Rem Attribute VBA_ModuleType=VBADocumentModule
Option VBASupport 1
Sub Sheet2
Rem Sub Selectlessthan50()
Rem Range("C24").Value = "=Data!B2"
Rem End Sub
Rem Sub Select51to100()
Rem Range("C24").Value = "=Data!B3"
Rem End Sub
Rem Sub Select101to200()
Rem Range("C24").Value = "=Data!B4"
Rem End Sub
Rem Sub Select201to300()
Rem Range("C24").Value = "=Data!B5"
Rem End Sub
Rem Sub Select301to400()
Rem Range("=C24").Value = "=Data!B6"
Rem End Sub
Rem Sub Select401to500()
Rem Range("=C24").Value = "=Data!B7"
Rem End Sub
Rem Sub Selectmore501()
Rem Range("=C24").Value = "=Data!B8"
Rem End Sub
Rem Sub Select1day()
Rem Range("F24").Value = "=Data!I2"
Rem End Sub
Rem Sub Select2day()
Rem Range("F24").Value = "=Data!J2"
Rem End Sub
Rem Sub SelectSourceyes()
Rem Range("C36").Value = "=Data!R2"
Rem End Sub
Rem Sub SelectSourceno()
Rem Range("C36").Value = "=Data!S2"
Rem End Sub
Rem Sub SelectPresentyes()
Rem Range("C40").Value = "=Data!T2"
Rem End Sub
Rem Sub SelectPresentno()
Rem Range("C40").Value = "=Data!U2"
Rem End Sub
Rem Sub SelectThemeyes()
Rem Range("D55").Value = "=Data!V2"
Rem End Sub

http://documentation.openoffice.org/HOW_TO/various_topics/VbaStarBasicXref.pdf

The above pdf describes porting Excel VBA macros to OpenOffice.org StarBasic. The problems you are having are mostly related to the object models used by VBA and StarBasic. They are incompatible.

Here is an article on batch converting Microsoft files with VBA macros to OpenOffice.org.
