recenly i have received an .pptx document and i have been told that file contains some XML file. anybody know how to open that .pptx documents on impress?

If this is the new Microsoft Office OpenXML (as found in Office 2007), then the short answer is you can't. However, maybe you can if you use the Novell OpenOffice.org or wait.

www.zamzar.com will convert to and from these office 2007 formats so theyr'e usable for us. tested it on a .pptx file. just unzip, look in the folder, and there it is, in .ppt.
