Can I update Open Office 2.0? Or do I have to download 2.1 and delete 2.0?
I started to download 2.1 ad it laid 1hr to download so I am assuming it is more than an update.

No you cannot update to 2.1. You need to download and install 2.1. I believe that 2.1 will allow updates. Reportedly you do not need to uninstall 2.0, it will install over 2.0 with no loss of settings etc (though I think I say a posting about a problem with personal dictionaries).
Try a search here (there is search button hiddein at the top of the page  ). There has been considerable discussion about this.
