|
|
Hello all,
We are moving to open office install on a terminal server and have planned to use Open Office for our users to read/edit office documents (primarily word and excel).
We found someone had created their own desktop icons for office applications that looked similar to the default MS office icons.
Is it possible to switch the default icons that Open Office uses to these new ones? Where would that be done at?
We would by giving our users icons that looked similar to regular office icons this would help ease the transition from one program to another as well as give them the ability to associate the correct program with the right office file.
Thanks. |

| Well you could just right click on the icon and go to Properties>Change Icon and select you icon you'd like. |

Right .. I know how to do that. That would only work for a specific short cut and only apply to a specific user logged in. This is not what I am asking.
What I want to do is change the desktop icon of the program itself AND the icons associated with the files for ALL USERS who log into this terminal server.
Right now if you right click on the desktop shortcut for open office, the change icon button is grayed out. This is the problem I am running into. |
