Is there any tool to trace Ooo-files (at least Writer, type *.odt) to find a particular string or word within a folder or disc containing lots of Ooo files?
Any answer is appreciated!

Not sure what you mean by "trace." Are you just looking for a tool to search .odt documents? In that case, any desktop search tool that will handle zip files will do; and you may have discovered if you're on Windows, the built-in search tool is not useful in that respect.
Copernic http://www.copernic.com/ is popular. I don't use it, but only because my employer supplies my computer and limits the kinds of software that can be installed. I've heard many good things about it over the years, though. _________________ Cheers!

Meanwhile i found a solution. I installed Copernic and this tool accomplishes all my needs. Thank you for this hint!
