Is it possible to insert a USPS bar code either in an envelope or on a mailing label? Thanks.

It appears so. Do a search for USPS bar code in the forum.

Assuming philg is referring to a "PostNet" bar code, it's not possible in OOo 2.0.x without installing Exotic Macros (FYI: I tried one of them and it didn't work). I don't know if it's been solved for OOo 2.1.
