I too am suffering from the lack of image support for RTF. I am a community college instructor in IT and used RTF is my standard format since it is supported by almost all word processors that students have (MS Works, WordPad, and Word). I am also trying to introduce the use of Linux and OpenOffice to my students. This lack or not generally used method of including images in RTF is a major issue.
Anyway thanks for the history on this issue. |

I too need to open RTF docs embedding images because Objecteering generates RTF reports with UML diagrams that my students must edit.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Now OO imports rtf's this graphics badly. (many rows of numbers)
Why not to create only importing with graphics?
It will not break compatibility.
Exporting will save separate rtf and graphics this warning message. |
