I just got the Mandriva 2.1 RPMs today, with no previous version of OOo on the machine. Everything seems to work right, but the mandriva menu package failed to install the menus into KDE (version 3.5). I've logged out and in, to try to get it to refresh, nothing. I can run it from the command line, but I really don't want to bother with that every time I need to type a document.
I opened up the Menu Editor, and I can see that it created the program groups, but not the program icons. So what's the story? Has this happened to anyone else?
Thanks in advance.

Mandy 2007 evidently followed a new menu format. OpenOffice does not create the menu subfolders, BTW, but it used to insert shortcuts into the submenus.
jib2 posted a fix here. _________________ search forum by month |

| Thank you VERY much! That worked like a charm. And saved me a lot of trouble manually editing the menu entries. |
