I attempted to create a new OpenOffice Drawing, insert a HelloWorld Java Applet, and export as an HTML document. The Applet was not functional, and there wasn't any applet tag or associated code appearing in the HTML file that was generated. I performed the same tasks for a new HTML Document, and the Applet behaved as expected. What difference is there between the OpenOffice Draw Drawing and HTML Document and the code that is generated when exporting? Does anyone know how to embed a Java Applet in an OpenOffice drawing? Any help would be appreciated.
