The autofilter defined in one column doesn't create a subset in the list of values of the autofilter in a second column. Is this a bug?
Example: I have a spreadsheet with two columns. In the first column i filter all rows containing the number 5. Then I define an autofilter in the second column. Doing so, the LOV gives me the list of all values of the second column, not only the values of the filtered subset by the autofilter in the first column.

I endorse the previous comment. I realise that what you describe is how excel does is, but like it or not this is how Calc works. It's just different to Excel here. This what M$ describes as a feature by design and not a bug -- in other words it does what it is designed to do (that fact that what its designed to do is not what the average user actually needs ...) The way to do this in Calc is to use a regular filter on both columns.
If you'd had done a search on this forum on "autofillter" you would have found many topics discussing this issue and workarounds. _________________ Terry
