[solved] copying and pasting frames

Hello.
I am not sure if I should make a template, or what i am really doing.
But I am writing a cookbook, and each page has the same basic layout (just the reverse for reverse pages, so there are two).
I am splitting it into two, sort of... One side, there is a frame listing the ingredients.
When I try to copy and paste the layout to the next page, so I dont have to make it again, it won;t copy the frame WITH everything else on the page. Is there a way to do that? Does this even make sense?
Hopefully. OR, is there any easier way? Templates are confusing me.

Anchor the frame to Paragraph instead of to Page.
