I recently brought over a mailing list from another WP by creating a .CSV file. I registered it as a database on OO. I can now MailMerge, etc. However, I would like to edit and update that mailing list without going back to the .CSV file. How can I copy the .CSV mailing list into an OO mailing list that can be edited and updated within OO?

If I've understood your question properly, if you hit F4, you will see the data source navigator. Under "addresses" there is "tables", under that you will see the specific mailing list that you registered.
Selecting that will allow editing within the 'spreadsheet' like section to the right.
Hope I've not confused the issue too much...

| Open .csv file in Calc and save the spreadsheet as type dBase then register that files directory in a new database. |
