Ok, new to OpenOffice (and Linux too, I jumped in head first!). I am trying to use bas eto catalog my Video game console and game collection (it's extensive).

So, I used Form Design, figured out the difference between List Box and Combo Box, figured how to Link fields to the right data (I think), but I have a problem. When I create a report, it puts the data in all the wrong fields..ie, Release date gets put under Console Name, etc. I checked my Form, and the correct fields are listed for data. And, when I go into the table after adding files with the Form, things are in the right places. Anyone have any ideas?

One other wierd thing, when I try to create a form with the wizard, I can get all the way through it untill the last step (Name the form and choose USE or MODIFY), when i hit FINISH, nothing happens...it just sits there. I tried all different menu combinations. On my Windows PC, this does not happen, only on the Linux (I just installed Ubantu 6.10 from a DVD, and it auto-updated Openoffice). Everything else seems to work fine.

Any help?

Thanks SOOO much!
Brian
