When I save a file (in calc), where is the date saved retrieved from? Currently, (20th Maqrch 2007), it is showing as 3/1/2005?  |

Showing where? You can get various dates from File >Properties : General tab. The document I have open shows "Created: 12/07/2005..." and "Modified: 20/03/2007...", the latter being the date when the document was last saved.

From document properties: created 01 January 2005, modified 01 january 2005, accessed 02 january 2005. The modified date is shown in the display by explorer. I actually edited the file this morning.  |

It sounds as though the file is awry. Has it been the victim of crash "recovery"? I would extract the data to a new file.

The date was coming from NEW disc lan server; it hadn't picked the local time zone correctly!!
