|
|
I am changing a formula to include a cell to the right of the cell containing the formula. As soon as I try to change the formula in the formula toolbar, it is also expanded to the right in the cell, making it impossible to select any cell the formula covers (whoever thought of this 'convenience' should be shot).
How do I turn off the automatic expansion of a formula in the cell? Excel does this right - the formula is only expanded in the formula toolbar.
Using OOO 2.0.4 in SUSE linux 10.2 - could not find option to turn this off anywhere.
Thanks,

Looks like this issue was first raised 2 years ago - it does appear to have suffered the usual fate. Bummer. Can't complain too much, though, considering the s/w didn't cost me a cent . |
