I am curious as to why there is still no reference to the 1.1 beta on the OO main page, when the files have been available of the mirror sites for several days.

mirrors are giving their products sometime a 1.1 name.
if you download them, look at the build and stuff.
there should be 1.1beta
if there is standing 644, than it is stilll the snapshot
