There's a lot of spreadsheets on our server that contain similar information, but each is managed by a different department.
Rather than open all and copy-paste all data into one spreadsheet, can I make a spreadsheet or database which will check all the tables and add their values to another table?
I'm struggling to use Base to connect to many tables, and can'd find any 'link' features in calc.
Thanks |

Are this spreadsheet static? if they are then I will go into programming. there are some ODF tools that let you manipulate the spreadhseets programatically. This will be specially iseful if you are on a server environment and all your data is consolidate.
I will recomend checkin the ODF toolkits. Which are utilities for ODF which will let you retrieve the data and if you are experience with programming you can also merge and reasemble reports using your favorite language.
Now I dont want to recomend a nuclear bomb to kill a mosquitoe. Can you be more explicit on what you try to achieve. If this is a one time thing I will rather go for a quicker approach, if this will be a constant then ODFToolkit might be the way to go.
