searching and replacing in word processor (Writer)

I want to find and replace end-of-line and tab characters. How can I do that?

Check Regular Expressions. $ finds paragraph breaks, \t finds tabs and \n finds line breaks. Interestingly to replace anything you find with a paragraph break you also use \n.

While in Find & Replace, click Help and look for the link to 'List of Regular Expressions'.
