Hi, I have my old files from Word XP and now I use OO Writer 2.2 to edit them.

Some of my Word files have table of contents and outlining. When I open these files in Writer it shows TOC area in gray. After I edit and save the document in Writer and then open them in Word XP the TOC and outlining disappears.

Best regards,
Gennadiy

See in the menu Tools>Outline Numbering and check that all the styles used for your headings are set for each level.

Don't forget to search the forum, this has been discussed already, see here : headings in imported WORD doc don't appear in nav - solved

Thanks to add '[Solved]' in your first post title (edit button) if your issue has been fixed.
