import of spread32 docs

Hello,

on my work place, they decided some years ago (to avoid paying too much to MS) to use the spreadsheet program "spread32". Now some weeks ago, they decided to go on to openoffice without any preparation. The problem is I cannot import xls docs made under spread32 (OO is freezing when opening such docs).
Any idea?

neverthgeless, I doubt anything can be done, since xls format is closed - undocumented, and probably the software you were using doesnt correctly save in xls format and this crashes oocalc

I solved the problem by copying (+paste special) the cells from spread32 into OO.
I have now another (less important) problem: I am using a dutch version of OO and so I must convert the formula's from english to dutch (and from excel/spread32 to OO). Not a real problem but if someone can give me a link for the english/dutch traduction, I would really appreciate.
