Soap opera story:
Two openoffice windows were opened when an error occured. I thought naively that only one window crashed. When I reopened the documet OOO asked me about recovery I canceled, because i didn't need recovery of the second one and then I realized that the first one is closed too. Are there any chances to recover my document?
i have searched the whole forum and i couldn't find any similar thread.
Please help me out guys :/ |

I don't think so because OOo has certainly cleaned the temporary files. You can check in the backup folder : <OOo user profile>/backup (path depends on your OS which I don't know).
A window is just the display of another 'side' of the application, it's not a separate instance of it.
Good luck (but I'm not very optimistic). I hope you've periodically saved manually (either CTRL+S or save button). _________________ Now on the EN user community forum |
