I frequently do a cut and paste of material from various discussion groups on the web to an OO doc. The material, when pasted in the OO doc, is generally quite narrow, perhaps half a page wide. Wastes alot of paper printing it out. Is there some way to reformat this to the full width of the paper? There are paragraph symbols at the end of each line (when I show the hidden characters), which prevent me from just changing the margins.

Another thing I tried is printing in two columns. Trouble is, the word wrap feature doesn't work properly, and some lines have only one word on them.

Any ideas?

If you have line breaks (right angle arrow) then Search for \n Replace with a space and check Regular Expressions.

If you have paragraph breaks (backwards P) use this macro.

 It obviously [in the strict definition of the word] was addressed to JohnV (see the "JohnV," at the top of the message), but implicitly was meant for bulletbobb2. I too was confused by that, but oh well. It's all straight now. Wink
