Hi! I am new to Open Office and every time I open the Open Office Writer, my computer slows down a lot and as soon as I close it, it runs fast. I have an
IBM ThinkPad
Processor Speed ~ 300 MhZ
RAM= 64 MB
4.2 GB Hard Drive Space...
I run Mandrake Linux 9.2 on it. Is it because of my System's low resources?

| Your 64 MB ram seems to be the main problem. Upgrade it to 128 MB (256 MB recommended). or, for now, use twm, fluxbox or icewm as the window-manager and don't run any big programs along side. |
