I am typing a business letter. The application just auto-formatted after my last "enter" key strike to begin a new line and now, the new line is indented and numeraled as if I were typing a shopping list or outline. How do I turn this feature off? I really want a Word Processing app to act EXACTLY like a typewriter. I want no help whatsoever.
How can I turn every help off, but especially this auto-format feature that is keeping me from sending this letter?
Thanks,
B. |

brjoon1021,
Please check there is no checkmark in the sub menu of Format > AutoFormat > While Typing. You can set/remove the checkmark by clicking on this sub-menu option. Not obvious nor easy to find... _________________ Help us to help you: Add [Solved] to the title of the thread if you agree with the answer
