|
|
| I've used OOo for years to make formulas. I installed OOo 2.2.1 a few weeks ago and just now discovered that I can't create formulas with Math. Greek letters don't display and even the equal sign (=) shows up as some strange symbol. I looked at the list of fonts that I have (in the pull down for fonts) and notice that there is no open symbol font. If I type "%alpha = a + b" (just for an example), alpha, =, and + don't show up and a "cross" shows up where = should be. Other than open symbol font missing, I haven't noticed any other problems with 2.2.1. I'm running 2.2.1 under Fedora Core 6 and downloaded from OOo's web site. Any ideas on how to fix this? |

| If you go to Tools>Catalog, do you have a Greek character set? What are your font settings at Format>Fonts... ? |
