Dear friends,
Actually i have met this problem many times before from my users, i have read from forum and posted to forum. I was told the solution is to upgrade to stable version Openoffice, thats to prevent it from happening again. As for the already corrupted files, i have to rename extract from zip and then edit all those xml files in there. Unfortuantely that is too complicated for us who has no knowledge on xml at all.
And all our users have already upgraded to openoffice 2.0 stable version yet we get lots of complains on corrupted files.
Now what happen in this case this time is that i have got the file .ods when i clicked on it it shows me the META-inf folder, thumbnails,content.xml,meta.xml,mimetype,settings.sml,styles.xml etc.
Is there an easy way or a tool that i can use to retrieve my corrupted files back?

Hi friends,
Sorry, thats ok alerady. I found a recovery tool that managed to recover the date. Maybe the formatting has been lost..but thats good as for now. thanks... |
