Hi,

I just switched to open office 2.2.1. I am trying to export a drawing I created in open office 2.1 to eps and only part of it shows up. I was wondering if there is a fix for this issue. The eps export option worked fine with open office 2.1.

thanks

Lots of strange things happen when EPS format is involved. If you can post your document somewhere, we can give it a look and maybe see what's at the root of the problem.

I often have better results using File > Print > Print to file to create Postscript output, then use ps2pdf or ps2epsi to create the PDF or EPS format.

I posted a bug report on this issue and apparently it's a "known problem". This issue is likely to be fixed in open office 2.4

I see a similar problem. I imported an eps figure, cropped it with the margins, and added a bit of drawing and text box. When I export to eps only the added drawing and text appears. When I export to jpeg, it comes out fine.

When I open my .odg file, it looks fine, but if I open the ole object for editing, the relative postions of the drawing and eps go wonky and need to be adjusted.
Yes likely the print-to-file will give me a decent ps to which I can add a bounding box.
