Hello friends,

I am having trouble installing Open Office. I'm running XP Home with the built in firewall, Comodo Anti-Virus, and Comodo BOClean.

I am getting the following message following a regular install:



I'm getting this message when attempting a safe mode install:



Please advise.

Don't forget to search the forum before posting : Need help with install error message. See especially last post about disactivating the anti-virus.

And check that you've the administrator rights to install applications.

Thanks to add '[Solved]' in your first post title (edit button) if your issue has been fixed. NB: why a poll ???

Thanks Hagar, the installation worked after I deactivated my Comodo stuff.
