Hey,
I would like to open my OO Writer with a "centered" blank page, i. e. the usual white blank page should be in the middle / center of the window (which is maximized, by the way).

Then, I'd like the zoom to be on 120%.

Is that possibleß

Don't forget to search the forum before posting, it has been asked so many times already !
-> Writer: Center document?

-> Opening view default size.

Thanks to add '[Solved]' in your first post title (edit button) if your issue has been fixed.

Yep, will do next time. In fact, I didn't know any fitting expression for this problem. Tried "center window" or "center page", but I didn't find something much useful.
I see there's no solution to his problem. Sad

You must be pretty new if you don't yet know that Hagar always says that.
It is not a criticism, just useful advice to help everyone find resolved problems more easily. When I searched for "center" I found no less than three related issues on the first page of results. Perhaps you forgot to filter for the Open Office Writer forum only?

Had you read the material linked, you would have seen that it will be available in 2.3 in few days. Note that it's already in the RC version.

For any search, don't forget to check the option Search for all terms.

Well I read it and after a couple of posts it turned into a sort of discussion between two users so I turned away.
But I'm glad to hear about the new release and especially this feature..!

I come here only 1 to 2 times every two weeks, so I don't read alot of Hagar's posts... thus it doesn't mean anything that I don't know about his usual advice!
I think I'm registered here since march or april.

edit:
No, it says Nov 2006. Wow. Well, just a kind-of-lurker here. Smile I am mostly using LaTeX / MiKTeX with TeXnicCenter.

In the 4th post, there is a link to the bug report. Such links are very useful and you should follow them because they're updated as the issues are being tackled. So you'll see what's the status (not started, in progress, fixed) and the votes count that is used to set the priority. You can vote for issues (up to 2 votes per issue) to speed its resolution.
