I have been trying to import about 5,000 rows of Access data with 15 characters and numeric fields into Base for the whole morning using CSV & Spreadhseet. It works for character fields but not numeric and date fields. Whenever I change the attribute of the fields to decimal, it becomes blank.
Any help will be highly appreciated. _________________ ycho |

| Mind the decimal separator. Does the spreadsheet contain numbers or does it import numerical text values? In the latter case, switch the locale to another country with an appropriate decimal separator (second option in Tools>options>Language Settings>Languages) or specify the column type in Calc's csv-import (right-click the column in the preview) |

Fantastic, thank you very much for your help. The key word is "comma" as you mentioned. _________________ ycho |
