dear, I would like to know whether it is possible to use openoffice.org java api, and connect o openoffice "server" locally in mac. if the answer is no, is it possible for the program to connect remotely to other machines, say a linux with openoffice.org installed. I can make my java program run successfully in windows and linux, but not sure whether it is ok to do the same things in mac.
